The aims of the Duke of Edinburgh Award are perfectly aligned to the aims of the Isebrook curriculum and DofE has been part of our offer for over five years now.
We have chosen the Duke of Edinburgh Award to be an important part of our curriculum because of the wide range of learning, opportunities and experiences the programme offers. Taking part in DofE enables our students to develop key preparation for adulthood skills helping them to develop their communication, independent and team working skills. Students become problem solvers and take pride in everything they achieve through this scheme.
Every student from Year 9 and above, in all outcome pathways, experiences the four elements of DofE:
They can achieve Sectional Certificates as they work towards their full Bronze Award and beyond.

"Every year, DofE inspires hundreds of thousands of young people, from all walks of life, to explore who they are, grow in confidence and develop the skills they need to successfully navigate life. We help them build lifelong belief in themselves, supporting them to take on their own challenges, follow their passions, and discover talents they never knew they had."
