Nick spoke openly about his career, explaining how determination, resilience, and a willingness to take opportunities have helped him achieve his goals. He shared the challenges he has faced along the way and highlighted the importance of learning from setbacks, believing in yourself, and staying focused on your aspirations.

Throughout the session, Nick encouraged students to think positively about their futures and reminded them that success begins with taking the first step. He spoke about the value of setting goals, working hard, and always striving to do your best, while reassuring students that it is okay to start small and build confidence over time.

Students were also eager to share their own enterprise experiences with Nick. They spoke about designing, creating, and selling their own products and services at the school's Christmas, Easter, and Summer Enterprise Fayres. They discussed the skills they have developed through these events, including customer service, teamwork, communication, budgeting, and handling money, as well as the confidence they have gained from interacting with buyers.

Nick was impressed by the students' enthusiasm, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. He encouraged them to continue developing their ideas, embrace new opportunities, and recognise that the skills they are building now will be valuable throughout their future education and careers.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to gain first-hand insight into the world of business and entrepreneurship while also reinforcing the importance of confidence, resilience, and aspiration.
