Isebrook's New Sensory Rooms

We are delighted to announce the opening of two brand new Isebrook sensory rooms, designed to enhance the learning experience and wellbeing of our students. One sensory room is located in the main building, while the second has been installed in the newly renovated school bungalow, ensuring greater accessibility for all.

The creation of these spaces has been made possible through our partnership with SpaceKraft, specialists in multi-sensory environments for schools and educational settings. Working closely together, we have developed two engaging, calming, and stimulating spaces tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Both sensory rooms are already proving to be a huge success. Students have been particularly excited by the vibrant interactive lights and immersive music features, which provide both calming and stimulating experiences depending on individual needs. The addition of monkey bars has brought an active element to the rooms, encouraging movement and physical development, while the popular “Buff Baff” station offers  hands-on sensory feedback that students are thoroughly enjoying.

These thoughtfully designed environments support sensory regulation, emotional wellbeing, and focused learning. Whether students need a quiet moment to reset or a stimulating activity to re-engage, the new rooms provide flexible and supportive spaces throughout the school day.

We are incredibly proud of these new additions to our school and are thrilled to see how positively they have been received. It has been wonderful to watch students explore, engage, and benefit from these vibrant new spaces.
