Careers & Employability

At Isebrook, our aim is to prepare our students for the next stage in their lives; to be successful learners, responsible citizens and confident individuals.

We are passionate about supporting our young people towards preparation for adulthood, and we believe that through the Careers and Employability Programme our students will prepare to progress into Further Education, Training, Employment or Adult Care Provision.

Matt Thomson is the Careers and Employability Leader and oversees the Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) at Isebrook. Matt leads our Employability Curriculum Group and also works with Transition Lead Sarah Lowe, who works with a number of partners to support our students, including Prospects, Department for Work and Pensions, Northamptonshire County Council, Local Training Providers, Moulton, Northampton and Tresham College, Canto and many more. Using knowledge and expertise from a variety of organisations allows Isebrook to inspire and motivate students as they make decisions for post 16.

We are part of the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP) who support to liaise with a wide range of businesses in both commerce and industry.
