Governing Body
"Governance is strong in holding school leaders to account for school improvement. Governors know the school’s strengths and weaknesses because they receive regular reports from school leaders on key areas of the school’s work, such as pupils’ progress. They also help the headteacher and school leaders to maintain their focus on improving the school."
Adrian Freeland - Governor
I joined the Board of Governors at Isebrook in December 2024.
I was particularly pleased to be invited to take on this role as I had worked at Isebrook for four years and was really keen on maintaining my relationship with this fabulous school.
I currently work as a Security Consultant, specialising in Regulatory Compliance. This includes preparing CEOs and Board Members for audit reviews. I also provide an Incident Management service helping Senior leaders react appropriately in the event of an unexpected incident affecting their business. Prior to this role, I held a number of senior management posts, principally working in the City of London, specialising in Security Management and Fraud Investigation

John Frostwick - Chair - H&S Link
I have many years of experience in the care sector, where I developed a strong foundation in inspections, compliance, and quality assurance. This work has given me a solid understanding of accountability, safeguarding, and the importance of person-centred practice.
Since 2020, I’ve served as a school governor at Isebrook School and currently hold the position of Vice-Chair. In this role, I support the school’s leadership team, contribute to strategic planning, and take an active role in governance of educational performance.
Alongside this, I’ve been a trustee, treasurer, and committee member of a local charity since 2018, supporting the emergency services and public bodies through voluntary work and community engagement.
I’m committed to helping Isebrook continue to thrive by ensuring we provide the best possible support and outcomes for all our students.

Tracy Spence - Governor - Careers Link (Resigned 18.06.2025)
As a Google Squared Graduate and Digital Marketing expert, Tracy helps companies with their online marketing presence. Tracy has been working with companies of all sizes, creating digital marketing strategies for business growth, since 2005. Not only a Google Squared Graduate, but also Analytics and Ads Certified.
My previous career life includes senior roles within Johnston Press, SDC Builders and SMC Pneumatics. Tracy loves to present to an audience - the bigger, the better. Tracy also loves spending time with her family and friends, especially if it involves really good food. She loves to travel and enjoys going to the Emirates Stadium to watch her team (Arsenal) play.
Tracy also has a pet cat called Jaffa, because he is the colour of the orangey bit in the middle of a Jaffa cake. He is fat, fluffy and super cuddly. Tracy is also published, and has written a children's book called "Daisy's Message" all about a little girl, and her dad's issue with moles in his garden! This is Tracy’s first role as a Governor, and she is excited to learn, support and help work with the team and staff to make Isebrook the best school it can possibly be.

Elaine Clipstone - Governor - Safeguarding Link
I have been involved in education and child care since 1987, and I am currently a HLTA at my current employer, Rothwell Junior School. I have been in this role for 15 years. Prior to that, I had a variety of jobs in and around the area connected to education. I have previously been a Governor at Isebrook.
My interest in being a governor at the college is because I had a child there as a student and was extremely impressed with how the school was run.

Emma Forbes - Staff Governor
I am currently a specialist teacher at Isebrook, teaching cookery. I am in a unique position to get to know the majority of students within Isebrook as they will learn essential cooking skills in the cookery room. I constantly strive to adapt the curriculum to suit all abilities and outcomes. I am now entering my 6th year in post, and am now at a stage where I feel I can add value at governor level and continue to see students achieve and be proud of their achievements across the schools curriculum.
I have not always been in education, having worked in various roles in hospitality in the UK and overseas. Returning to university to retrain as a teacher, initially in mainstream, then coming to Isebrook in 2020.
